Steering wheel for NFS:C ; Brake pedal doesn't respond

I have a Microsoft Sidewinder force feedback wheel and the whole thing's fine, I've tried for NFS:UG2 and everything works great. Now for Carbon AND Most Wanted my brake pedal doesn't respond when I try and set it up.. :x

Try setting the brake and accelerator on the same axis in the Game Controllers Control Panel.
