Problems with Vista

I just got a new cpu and tried one of my old games on it, carbon. However, it crashed when the begginning movie is supposed to appear. I checked the pbolem and found out that it was not compatible with vista.

So my question is is there anyway i can run the game on Vista (ex.patches)

Appearently the 1.4 patch is supposed to make Carbon compatible with Vista, but I was able to run Carbon error-free on Vista with no patch at all. Although I stil can't run it online for some reason...

i use windows vista home premium and i have had no troubles what so ever with nfs carbon so i doubt it would be the OS
