NFS: C Game freezes when I customize my car

Every time i got a car in Need for Speed Carbon, I would want to apply a lot of aftermarket stickers onto the car. Well, when I do, I will go to free roam and want to drive with that car. But as the game is loading, itll just freeze up completely. What should I do?

(P.S. I used a Gameshark to get 99,999,999 dollars)

PS2 I presume?

If so, that is a bug in the game that causes the game to freeze when you go to drive after autosculpting. The way I got it to go away was saving, then resetting the PS2, or occasionally (but don't trust me on this) tapping [X] while the game is loading seems to stop it crashing. It will also only happen on the first race/freeroam you go into after messing with the vinyls.
