NFS:C problems plz help

I got some problems with NFS:C

1: I can't install any patches. I get one command prompt and it is doing something and when I run the game it is still V 1.2 What am I supposed to do? I have tried to download the patch form different locations and I have tried to put the patch exe in the same folder as the game

2: I have seen that it is possible to unlock the 911 Turbo. I have completed the career but I haven't unlocked it yet? What should I do to unlock it?

1.) Make sure you know which version you own and download the right patch from EA.

2.) Use the UNLOCKER which can be downloaded from here.

Thx for the reply. My game is NFS:C collectors edition bought in australia. I have downloaded patch 1.3 UK collectors edition. should I D/L the US pathc?

Hmmm, I think I have the same version of Carbon as you then. I solved the problem by downloading a no-cd patch for it.
