Need For Speed Carbon Installation

So, I searched all sites containing on how to fix the "directX" problem.
All says set the "Compatibility as Win 2000" so I did.

But now when I try to install it, it wont run at all.

Do you guys know what is wrong?

Ram: 2 GB
Video Card: e7600 nVIDIA

Don't think it would have anything to do with your computers specs. - I had the same specs. when I got Carbon (but 1GB RAM)
