BMW M3 GTR - Tuning

Post by Ceano »

Here is a pic so you all can see what the difference is when you hex edit and tune the BMW with the junkman parts, a lot of people say that they don't see any difference between the original and the tuned one.

HERE you can download a save with fully tuned BMW's.

What i think is strange is that the BMW has so low handling (see handling bar) in the first place, when it has clearly a lot better handling than that when you drive (it has the same handling as the cars that have top handling).

The BMW isn't the best handling car in the game. Not for me at least... There are other cars which are better, some of which are my favourites like the Cayman, Mustang, Mazdas and DB9.

the db9 has bigger turning circle than an airbus A380.

Indeed, actually all the Porches seem to handle exceptionally well in the game.

Yeah, that too. Too bad it's too light for an overall good car (no good in high level pursuits).

Looks like they corrected its handling to what it should be then

As for the Lotus it is the best handling car in the game as far as speed through corners goes, but its very light and best used for online racing rather than career. I can't count how many Ironwood Estates races I have won against M3 GTR's and other "fast" cars. Only real problem is on the longer races it loses out on top end grunt.
