Who would like to mod the speed/handling anyway? It's more fun to know that "Oh, I'm good, I can beat the game whitout cheats" than it is to know "Oh, I cheat, who cares? I'm the fastest, I got the biggest enginge, I'm the biggest god damned moron" etc ;)

Dude...why you bother in giving the program's name if you don't want to see cheaters online and also say they work online?

xSpeed speeds up the computer. I think the physics profiles for each car are stored in, say, one file. It's a good question though, when creating custom cars for MW, with modloader, how do the authors change the speed? It would be great to see some tools up here so that we can make the performance more 'realistic'. :?

Tho, I'm a few weeks late...

To modify perf, you should edit the attributes.bin file...
Look at vltedit, vltpatcher, etc in the MW mod tools.

For custom cars, we don't directly modify attributes.bin, instead we create a "patch script" (mwps file), which is dynamically executed by modloader.

I've tried editing the .mwps file and it works. I guess the next big step in speed/handling modding is a .vlt/.vls EDITOR.

Actually i've just thought. Is it possible to make a patch .mwps file for any other ingame car (without modloader)? Or does modloader have to be on?
