Get a good photoeditor, Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro I guess are the most popular ones. Those have advanced cropping tools. Though it still takes time and some skill to get good cutouts.

I generally do a rough outline first with various lasso tools and then zoom in real close and basically tweak the cut one pixel at a time. Takes time, but the end result is good.

Who me? Correct, I do not make cut outs for my garage or anywhere else on nfsunlimited. Which doesn't mean I don't use them on othe pictures I occasionally edit for variety of purposes...

Ps, Well actually the cartoon cars on my signature are cut out, but they already had a white background, so not much effort there.

use crop tool or magnetic lasso not polygonal lasso.

but if that's what you want. just click a point you want to start the croping then after that right click, layer via cut then that's it.

I Cut out with lasso tool, then cut away the bad edges.
I use Paint shop pro 9, a userfriendly program :)

How do you make a photo so "clear?" For example, Pinecone's sig is so clean and clear. Any suggestions?

Thanks.
