Car Editing and swapping in NFS Most Wanted (PC)

Ok heres the info. i finally got need for speed most wanted for pc. I got the black edition becuase of the exclusive car (67 Camaro SS) in quick race. I want to switch files of the camaro with a car that i dont particularly like in the career mode, such as the clio. so that way when i go to buy the clio in career mode, it will look like the Camaro ss! i tried just swapping their files in the Cars folder, but nothing showed up for those two cars in the game! HELP PLEASE!!!!

They've probably got the real car files hidden in a data file somewhere.
I wouldn't mess with it, you'll just end up f**king up your game

you could always copy the files you are editing just incase something liek that happens u know!

Yep, I tried swapping too... but bro, it won't happen. It's coded somewhere, and if you swap cars, the game will crash. Leave it like it was!
