A different car model???

Post by !N$4N3 »

Could anyone make a program that can change a car model? Example, the Fiat Punto and viola, now it's a Nissan Skyline GTR? Yep, I think you guys could make something...

Tall order there, my friend... Not likely to happen. Even vinyl/texture editing is tough enough, not to mention creating a complete new 3D model.

Well, I beg to differ! If 2 specialists made a model for one car and implanted it, I'm sure there are 2 guys here that can solve it! :D The thing is that we have to find out the way of the car models implant. Well, we already have a Nissan GTR model

Well, I dunno. It not so much a problem of actually creating the model, but instead of creating a tool to hack the necessary bin files. None came out for nfsu2 either so I'm not very optimistic that there will be one for mw. Would be great though.

It's most definetly possible, the problem is the fan base does not contain anybody that is a programmer (One smart enough to do so). Hex editing is not my strong point, and the person to make such a program would have to be extremely dedicated.

not to mention extremely talented

to do something like this, the code has to be cracked first. we first have to figure out how the files are read by the game, and we have to figure out how to best use that information to add stuff to the game. i remember Porsche Unleashed took more than a couple of years to fully crack. so, we'll just have to be patient.

Well, you can steal all the kits and crap out of nfsu2 and use it if you can crack the codes

My point is that if there was a modifier for NFS: Porsche Unleashed, there will be a modifier for NFS: MW! And when you say that a person has to be extremely talented, that is not true. If someone made this code, someone can crack it to!
