Online gaming: Can't "Continue" after an online ra

Hi folks

This is my first post. Sorry it has to be a support post, but you folks seem the most knowledgeable about this stuff. Anyway, hi and thanks for the forum!

After racing in an online game I an unable to press the "Continue" button in the results screen. The only way I can resume playing is to crash the game (Ctrl-Alt-Del) and restart. Anyone else have this problem?

I read in the readme.txt file that race results are posted to EA's servers. But I assumed this happened off-cycle and not in real time. The readme file said that results posting can take up to 24 hrs. So I expect that EA doesn't intend for us to wait in the results screen for 24 hrs before we can resume playing.

Any ideas? I've also notified EA about this "potential bug" but I wanted to see if anyone else here had experienced this.
