game locks up when loading (random)

i've been playing for about 30 mins and i've had the game lock up twice now. it first happened when coming out of the performance garage while loading, it just stopped and locked up. i couldn't alt-tab, alt-f4, ctrl-alt-delete or anything. the only way to get out of it was by reseting. i left it there for 15mins and it was still locked up.

the second time happened when i found the red grapics store, while it was loading that it locked up again.

i have the new patch as well, and its really annoying because i have to start way back

anyone else having this problem?

yes mine has locked up about three times now... once coming out of a shop (cant remember which one) and another during a url race... the other time, i cant remember, but definitely not during free roam
