I've no idea. I started on v1.3 and I still get 'micro pauses' sometimes during gameplay

I'm running it @ 1024 x 768 with some of the settings on medium, but mostly high.

1800 XP AMD
512Mb DDR RAM
GeForce 4 Ti4200

I can run FIFA 2004 no problems @ 1024 x 768 which is also a EA game and in my opinion has far better graphics and is a more demanding game on a PC!

Treadstone, i got the same pc as you, but i have no problems runing the game. maby somthing wrong with your graphic card options
try to adiust antialiasing to "aplication selected" it shud help
