i got slammed for my last question....but anyway, I d/l the cheat detector from this website, but wanted to know 1 thing. how can you exit out of a race, before it starts, after you find out there is a cheater in the race? i have tried, but seem to always loose rep points for doing so.

I don't think you can. The cheat detector isn't made by EA so the server doesn't know the guy is cheating.

You can't exit the race and if you do, you lose twice the amount of points you'd have lost for the last place.

I wonder why ppl still disconnect from races when they're last...

hÃ¨hÃ¨, I don't understand it either. When I think clear, I would say you're a "moron" if you disconnect when you're last and ALSO losing a double amount of points!!

If you have both the game and the cheat detector running, and you hear that there is a cheater, you can just Alt+Tab quickly while all the players are connection, take a quick screen shot, and then Alt+Tab back before the game starts. Make sure you do it quickly, though, because if you take too much time, the other cars will start while you're counting down.

I tried that alt+tab but my game keeps on going i can hear the countdown and the other races going away is that normal.

yeah thats normal. when you alt+tab, is does not pause the game. it just backs you out to windows and lets you peek at the cheat detector. if you click the nfs icon in the tool bar, it should take you right back to the game.

actually u can wait until after the race is done and then u can look at the cheat detector and their names are gonna be on it... BUT MAKE SURE U DONT EXIT THE CURRENT RACE.... ALT TAB WHEN UR IN THE POST RACE STATS, THEN U DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE RACE STARTING BEFORE U DO.........THATS WHAT I DO AT LEAST... TOO BAD THEY CANT DO NETHING ABOUT THOSE STUPID CHEATERS.... I GUESS THE BEST U CAN DO IS SMOKE THEIR ASSES UP!!!
