Yeah, but they don't work with old video cards or GeForce MX cards.

i have that and it s very lame without that stuff.i cant wait to get a new crad next month.im geting that Gforce 4 Ti

oh, well maybe thats the problem because when i go to set up how i want the graphics some of the stuff is blocked and i cant get to them, but i have everything else on high details.

it probably aint gone work eather on ti because they dont support a directx9

go whit something like gf5700 and up..i got my self gf5700u and its pretty good

sigh .. when will ppl learn that ATi is the daddy around? my radeon 9500 pro outperforms my firend's FX ... and it's a 9500 pro .. not a 9700 ... or a 9800 ...

Well, in that case... then I think the graphics on the 9800 Pro would be unspeakable... :shock:

mine wan is weaker 128mb 9200se
but it works well too!!
(somehow sometime the graphic was not very smooth at some of the chicanes in some tracks)
(but if in motion blur, damn not smooth....)

At least yours is better than my stupid, lame built in graphic card...... haha... :wink:

@ Summ, I got the same card. And yep, it's great and I wouldn't trade ATI on GForce, I had a nasty experience with Gforce before. Alienware uses ATI - must mean something.

what fx got your friend? probably like 5200 thats the worse fx cards
they are like gf mx 64mb

and yea my fx5700u beats easy your 9500 pro

and ATI RADEONS are good for GAMES...but for rest like programing 3d stuff and like that GF takes ATI easy

I disagree. If I want I could easily OC my 9500PRO to perform just like 9800PRO - and my card cost me 100bucks 1 year ago. And for graphics and 3D? What are you talking about, I never had a problem with 3D or PSP, and I think RAM is more important for that. And 1 gig is plenty. I don't know how new the FX 5700U, but it if it's much newer than 9500PRo it better be very good. Again, price and performance ration is the key.
Bottom line - if you want a realtively cheap gfx card, with decent gameing performance and compatability, OC ability and and quality - you can't go wrong with ATI.

'GF takes ATI easy' - that's just too vague. :)

Ill stick with my ATI 9800 XT/TVD LE all in wonder....
runs like a dream!! (what do you expect from a almost 500 euro....)
I know one thing for sure.... Ill never go back to Geforce
