So I've been playing NFSU for a few days. I suddenly decide to download a patch that removes the intro movies so I can get into the game faster. But now, the game freezes right after the loading bar thing, and becomes stuck on a black screen. I need to CAD out everytime. I've reinstalled numerous times. I dunno what's wrong, but I suspect it has to do with the no-intro patch.

Yeah, probably it is the no-intro patch. Reinstall the game and don't install that patch.

I've reinstalled the game multiple times. The first time, after installation when it automatically starts the game it's fine. After I quit out, it doesn't work. I have no installed the patch since.
