HELP!!!

last night i was playing nfs:u, everything was fine....when i turned on the comp today and went to play, and the menu kept skipping all over the place. does anyone know whats wrong and how to fix it?? any help would be greatly appreciated!! thanks

what do you mean skipping? was the actual menu jumping or just the select cursor?

its like im pressing the up or down arrow, and the highlighted part is jumping, but im not doing anything

happened to me a few times............for a temp fix, just hit enter and it will take you into a profile...........the hit delete to come back out to the save game selection screen, worked for me. what was causing this for me, was i have a joypad with a rolling mechanism. and if i didn't turn that off it would move the cursor in the dirrection the joypad was tilted.

hope this helps, if not.......try reinstalling you're controller.

edit: thanks alot, i had to uninstall my game pad n reinstall it, games back to normal, thanks alot
