NOS Blur
it gets black?? Motion blur is a DirectX9 option, so you need a graphic card that supports it. If you bought your gfx card at 2002 or sooner probably dont support this, because Dx9 is so recent. For example my Gforce 2 MX only supports Dx8. I can play but without these special options.
The first thing you should do is go to options menu and see if they are available all the options. If they are, your gfx cards support DirectX9 and this was not the problem.
You tell your screen gets black... My screen doesnt get black. Your pc has probably another problem... Maybe there is corrupt any directx file or something like that. Before doing anything, give us more info about and we would help you better
