NFS Underground ..Help Needed 1600 x 1200 res no option >

Does Anyone now how to force 1600 x 1200 res in Underground
max it allows me to do is 1280 x 1024 , but when I set it to that it doesnt seem to change , does it only change for the actuall races ??

+ is there anyway to force 1600 x 1200 res , I am running my desktop
@ this res ???? ( have GF 6800 GT )

The resolution only changes during the race. But I don't know how to make it 1600x1200.

Isn't 1280x1024 big enough?

BTW I think it is no possible. In the case it was possible, the gfx would suck because they would be resized. Like if you resize a 400x300 photo into a 1200x900 one, you understand?

Anyways I have seen some 2048x1536 nfsu2 screens. is that enough for you??

i dunno i once had a 19" monitor, and i turned it up to 1600x1200 resolution, the game had such low FPS, just stick with the resolution u ahve aor make it 1048x768

I dont think there would be a FPS problem with it @ 1600 x 1200

Im running doom 3 @ that res and still getting 60 fps

you can resive the the image using ya moniter controls by the way Sparco:)

BUt as ya say the game engine ittself may not support it

anyway decided to stay with 1280 x 1024 runs dead smooth at that anyway
