Can't press "Esc" button in NFSU1

I can't press the Escape/Esc button in NFSU1. It works on everything else... This is in NFSU1... Please help. I'm tryin to complete the game again.

Your keyboard is screwed up? But that can't be, you said it works with everything else. Perhaps it is installed wrong? I don't know much about PCs, but hey, never hurts to guess!

Before, It used to work with the same keyboard... The day before yesterday it started...

this happened to me once, i went in the controls menu and found that most of the keys wern't even assigned for some bizzare reason. Don't know if it's the same problem, but i guess it's worth checking out.
