Is there more in NFSHP2?

Hello, i've been playing NFSHP2 for a while and have a gold or silver medal in all of the assignments of the Hot Pursuit mode. I expected to be able to push the "next" button at the bottom of the screen then and get more assignments. But that is not the case.
Question: Do I have to get gold everywhere or is this the end of the game? Or do I have to do something else?

(When this is the end of the game, why is there a grayed out "next" button? When I have to get gold everywhere, why isn't that written anywhere)

NFSHP2 sucks, so I can't be bothered to find out!! But perhaps you gotta finish both Hot Persuit and Cicuit Races to get BIG gold medal or somthing. Like I said, the game sucks.

I got all gold awards and there is nothing more.Just that.Man how I don't like this game.
