NFSU Music Importer error

Post by dmizesr »

I got the importer and yes, I have the full install of NFSU not the demo, but every time I try to use the importer I get this error:

The Music Stream file may be corrupt
The required number of music tracks was not found
Required = 27, Found = 1

Anybody know what I'm doing wrong? I have the VB6 runtimes so I don't know what the problem is.

Any and all help appreciated!

Look:

The Music Stream file may be corrupt
The required number of music tracks was not found
Required = 27, Found = 1

that means, that you have imported 1 file, and you still have to import 27 files! :roll:

Music importer error

Post by dmizesr »

Actually I'm reading (and looking) just fine thanks. To the best of my knowledge there's only one file for music in NFSU. You have to import tracks/songs into that single file, replacing existing tracks. Since I can't even open up the initial soundtrack file it's impossible for me to do that.

Can I assume that since you responded as such that you have used the importer and it works on your system?

Thanks,

ok than...

after reading Tim's note I said " must read better". I.e. I should have paid more attention to the README file which explains everything. What made you think I was referring to you???

And yes, it works just perfect now.

bump!

I have the same problem... I have 27 tracks (asf) in the same folder. The program close before I can select the files.
