Hi,

I have all the NFS games running on my windows XP
(from NFS 2 SE, III, IV High Stakes... and so on)

But I can't manage to get NFS 1 Special Edition to start (it won't even install ;( )

Any ideas (ok it's an old game but cool anyway). Also Win 95 Compatible mode does not work.

I've had NFS-1 on my PC about 1 year ago.
I'm running Windows XP with service pack 2. It worked without any problems.

I thought it opened in an MS-DOS -window.
Maybe there is a problem with the install.exe -file

Mine runs ok too. (Exeot for the sound, it is uncompatible with my sound card).

Hm,

can anyone zip up the 3 or 4 install files (the ones for windows).
(So I could gve that one a try. The install exits with an memory error...)
