Problems with NFS PU

While i'm on the menu, suddenly and sometimes my mouse sticks and i can't move it. And also i can't press alt+F4 or any of those combinations. My solution: Press the restart buttom of my pc.
HELP!!
(I'm Using WinXP SP2 and a ATI RADEON RX9550 256mb and 128-bit)

basically, a lock up. does this happen all the time, or was this a one-time thing?

happens oftenly, so i always hurry up to start the race, because in any moment, the mouse lock-up, but the game continues normally.

Maybe it makes conflics with WinXP

have you downloaded all updates, including the Enhanced version for Windows XP? if it's not on this site, it's on nfscars.net
