NFS 5 (PU) Online. Unofficial servers??

Hi,
I have just upgraded to broadband and want to play nfs 5 online.

The problem is the official EA servers have been shut down and so I cannot play over the internet unless I do it p2p (using IP's).

This obviously means I have to arrange games in advance with certain players and know their IP's.

Firstly is there an unofficial server around that allows internet play. If so how can the game be configured to use it?

If not then is there a website where players looking for a game can go and exchange IP addresses? (This would be a nice idea for anyone with bandwidth, hint hint)

No, there's no unofficial server. A project called NCOPS was started about 2 years ago when EA decided to close down its servers. I think it was supposed to keep track of games and stats. I'm not sure what happened to it though.
