NFS3HP on XP??

Hello,

I have NFS3HP and want to run it on my XP machine. I think I've read that you can download a patch to make it happen somewhere but I can't find it! I have tried compatability mode with no progress...

Can anyone help, please?!?

Have you tried to install the game and you couldn't?I mean,have you actually tried to do it yourself and found out that it wasn't working,or you heard it from someone else?I mentioned that because i have the game installed on win XP (professional) and it's working fine..

Well, according to ntcompatible.com there's an NT patch, but I didn't find it. Try installing the game in compatibility mode.

Sorry As i said it works fine on my pc,running XP so i haven't tried it.

Hey Nitro, the guest (Bull) hasn't posted on the site since Sun 18 May, 2003 4:50 pm so I guess we ain't really gonna know how he got on. Nevertheless, yours and Superracer's advise will be useful to others that may experience the same problem.....

Sorry for not checking back sooner! Been too busy and out of reach of my computer for a couple months.

Just tried the last fix but unfortunately it didn't work... I've tried it in compatability mode as well. Weird that it works for some but not for others! I'll probably get a new machine in a couple of weeks, so hopefully that'll take care of it
