NFS Porsche BIG PROBLEM !!! PLS HELP :[

Post by namyth »

My specification is: athlon64@ 2.7Gh/z and Radeon 9700PRO

I installed NFS Porsche on my windows XP ( + 3.5 patch ) and it works, but ...
when I ride inside the car there is a lot of differences compare to my old Geforce GTS :[ ... My clocks are horrible ( as a software render ) .. I tried everything to change this ! ... I tried http://discussion.nd4spdworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=3401 sollution, but it didn't work for me, I also installed the newest version of catalyst ( 5.4 ) and i changed my graphics options for highest values ( for Direct3D and OpenGL also ) but clocks and my ,,nick" on the rear bumper are ugly Sad ... I changed options in game to highest values and also nothing special. Please HELP me, because I am very angry with this :/

Turn up the ansiotropic (bilinear) filtering, this should fix the problem. Be grateful you don't have a newer Nvidia card, as there are a lot of issues with NFSPU on newer Nvidia cards.

Turn antialiasing off, this will blur up the text. Only use ansiotropic filter.

Antialiasing is pretty worthless while playing.. It's great to use when you make wallpapers from in-game screenshots.. But otherwise, the rough edges on models in a game is barely noticable while playing, you just don't care to look for rough edges when you're playing an exciting game.
