unable to down load HP 2 patch

I click on the "Install Patch" and for a second,it appears to start,then,instantly disappears. This is probably easy for anyone else.Please help.

Isn't that how patch works? Just launch, and then disappears when it's finished? Or could you have downloaded the wrong version of the patch?

It doesn't fully load 100%. I can keep hitting the left click & see its red and at about 25-40 %. Shouldnt it tell me something like "Patch installed" ?.
