yep, truly awesome work.............to be able to model and render like that, you would need to be very experienced with the bigger programs like 3d max, maya, c4d, ect...............unfortunately i don't think i'll ever have the time to learn any of them properly.

I think you will, you're like a good driver who is naturaly good in a regular car. So put you into a race car seat, and surely you'll do well! Get my comparison?

They rendered in lighwave 7.0 i think, and worked with 3Dmax. I use the mod they made for F1 Challenge for 2003 season. It's so amazing.. They also made 2 addons that are released as full time game expansions, which use the F1 Challenge engine (which is extremely realistic). And now we got ETCC and DTM. I think you could can easily get to that level, I mean yuo Xanavi Skyline is so stunning, that it's matching those models on detail, and almost there in rendering.

lightwave seems to be getting more and more popular nowadays, even with nfs modelers (or maybe i just never realized before

). i might have to try it some time, but just now zmodeler is fine........."better the devil you know".

btw..........did they also do the JGTC mod for f1 aswell? i noticed that somewhere, but i don't know if it was ever completed.

I don't think it got completed, but to the best of my knowledge they tried on that as well. Now their main task is to fully mod F1 2004 season, including new tracks in Bahrain and China. Those guys are monsters, I'm telling you! But it's not their simple hobby, I think they enjoy support from EA, as their ETCC and DTM mods even got reviewed on MOTORS TV recently, along with F1 Challenge.

nfs6 and maybe nfs4, but only if nfs4 can handle the texture quality (which i doubt).

i also want to start putting my cars into Racer, but i'll need to do some research first and see how it's done.

i've already made 15 scratch made cars for nfs6 and hopefully there will be plenty more.

i've decided my next 2 cars will be a Ferrari F40 and an Au..................oops almost said that one out loud
