Wheelie?

Post by Sparky »

Hey, I'm concerned on how to do that huge wheelie people are doing. I was online last night and I was racing 3 guys that were obviously friends (Same car color, etc.) and they were pulling huge wheelies. There nitrous was obviously going to, as there muffler was shooting out flames. We were on bayview. They got 21's alot of times. And I'm here still getting 23's, can anyone tell me how this works? It obviously helps the prformance of the car. Thanks in advance. :)

EDIT: Crap, I put it in the wrong forum. Can a mod please move this? Thanks.

See, I can pop smaller wheelies in my RX-7 (7 seconds on 1/4) without hydraulics, and with. But I want to know how you get them that big. I think it increases the acceleration, and makes the times quicker, does it?

well sparky rx-7s are hard to get very large wheelie's with but if you're using a 240sx you can get better times and bigger wheelie's

here is a few pics of my rx-7 doing a wheelie I used no hydros.

What you do is Hydraulic the front up then hit the accelerator, works best with RWD cars. I'd done that with my RX-7 in free roam. I never saw the point in doing it during a race.

Oh that is the wheelie. Well erybode has explained allready how to do it.
But I am not interested in long or any wheelies coz I dont see point of that.

I've seen it done in a drag race with a 240sx because of the amount of power it had and it got less than 18 sec drag time

Well, he's on topic, and does add to the topic. I think we can excuse that indiscretion.

You can't do a wheelie in a Civic because they're FWD.

here's my pic

to do this, install every lvl 3 performance part, except the suspension.
Just set the power to the highest RPM's and the front aerodynamic to 0, launch perfectly, use nitrous as soon as the car shifts to 1st, and watch her go...

the problem is to shift perfectly in 2nd and 3rd gear...thats why i usually drag with suspension upgrades, but if you practice hard, and if you can shift perfectly 6 times with a wheelie, you can take out anyone....

You can do it if you waste your time on fine tuning and adjust your engine!
