i think im the new DK
my score is about more than 1M and i did the score in the last drift-level. 22 i think. its the hardest level. the score was only one drift. i'm the drift king
who is better than me? i will beat him

Just curious to know if there is anybody on the Internet that can beat my score at drifting,
so i enter in google and found your forum!

This is so far my personal record but i can still beat that :]

If you don't believe me, i will make a video soon, just wait.

The track was Kings Park, soon i will try another

ok hes very good
but he drifts another track
my track i drifted is the last one. if u choose the qickrace mode and go to the last race, this is the track i mean. its called eternity place or something. i think its difficult to make a good score there

If you want a really big drift score just get some trainer with driftking option (i suggest cheatshappens megatrainer) http://www.needforspeedsavegames.com

i started drifting with my career car, an Evo. then switched up to a Supra. i had it all geared towards acceleration and torque but i decided to try it out with the emphasis on horsepower and top speed. topped my previous best score by 240,000 points on my first try. went into the first turn on the second lap at something like 180mph:

woohoo! i broke 2 million! but once again, it crashed to desktop so i couldn't save the score, but im quite sure i can do better. on the second lap i hit a wall on the first turn so i lost a fair amount there. anyways:

get the supra, gear everything towards top speed and horsepower. i set the turbo to mid way between the middle and high rpm since, with the much taller gears, i probably won't be spending 100% of my time at the redline like i would if it were geared towards acceleration. suspension to max oversteer, brakes to max rear bias. what i do to get more points on the first laps is to go backwards all the way to the wall and then gun it from there. by the time you get into the first turn, you should be done with your nitrous and should be at about 140-150mph in 4th gear.

it makes a huge difference. on that first segment of the 3 on kings park, i've had a 40k drift a number of times but i average about 35k for the first lap. the first lap is by far the most important. let me record a 30second clip through fraps and i'll post it on youtube

wow nice job yael. i might have to try the corvette soon, but i think its possible to reach about 2.5 mil with the supra.

i've uploaded the video but holy crap the video is grainy. i cant set fraps to record at 320x240 res like youtube compresses it to, but you get the idea from the video.

i dont like the tuners for drift, too "slow" (or i dont know how to set them up

)
i got around 50k at the first bit of kings park, around 70k on the 2nd lap

you use an analog pad dont you?

funny how you can score much much more with that compared to keyboard
