Alright you lot, we want to see your drift shadows uploading to the new (beta) NFSUnlimited Leaderboards!! The system automatically extracts track/score/car info from the shadow and ranks it on the leaderboards. What's more, you can click any score on the boards and download the shadow direct into your game so you can run against it.
NFSUnlimited Leaderboards: http://www.nfsunlimited.net/?p=tl
Have fun.

its speed, speed, speed. the first lap is incredibly important as well, and now im consistently scoring 1.1-1.2 million on it.
im adjusting the performance a little bit here and there...i put the turbo on the highest rpm setting and i brought down the transmission from full top speed down to the two smaller slides towards neutral. this means that when on my second lap, i'll be able to use more of my 5th gear and less downshifting into 4th, thereby keeping more potential for a higher speed.
i just tried to install gamecam but unfortunately, it requires windows xp to use and i only have win2k. so i guess one of these days i'll buy the full version of FRAPS and record a run.

Golden Valley Run 2.3mil
I'm one of those people who likes to think that I'm the best at everything. I therefore dislike your vids, because you're better than me
Only joking They're cool vids. I'm gonna have to waste a lot more of my life drifting now, in an attempt to get up there with the big boys.
his is my recently accomplished, 2.3mil on Golden Valley Run. This is done with 3 major drifts all the way down. I really wanna get it all done with one drift, but that's probably gonna take a few more hours of playing yet (For some reason, I'm inexplicably drawn to walls when I dift). When I get that done I'll post it. I reckon 1 continuous drift may get me close to 3mil, which is about half the top score for that run (based on videos I've seen). I'm pretty sure I've seen scores of 30mil(ish) posted for that run, but unless I see vid's I'm very dubious to believe those scores.
I know by now, that no matter how good you think you are, there's almost always likely to be someone better. However, in this case where there's a lot of people who believe that the 7mil drift was acheived by cheating, I'm still undecided. It all looks legit and most of the "you're a cheater" posts I've read have been made by people who aren't that good at driifting and I'm therefore inclined to believe it's genuine. Any videos to disprove it have been made with cars other than the viper, which means they're not fair comparisons.
That said, until I see a vid of a 30mil drift that looks legit, I'm gonna stick with 7mil(ish) as the highest drift score for this run.
Now my rambling has finished, you can download the vid here:

I hope you like it
P.S. When I was making the vid, I thought I had got 2.4mil for some reason. DOH!!

I don't believe that anyone can get that score without cheating. But as I said, there's a lot of people who think the 7mil drift needed cheats.Driv2Slow wrote:first place in the stats thingy has a best drift of 43million!?! he cheated didn't he?xxNEMO01xx wrote:Nice Vids...

Most of those people can manage 1mil if they're lucky.
7mil is seven times there score and they think it's cheating. I reckon I'd be lucky if I got 5-7mil in one drift down a Canyon. Seven times that score is 35-50mil. Does that meant that 30mil+ is possible? I dunno. But unless I see vids, or actually with a score that huge (15x to 35x the average 1mil to 2mil drifter) I'd have to see them doing the drift in person, having personally loaded the game without trainers, to believe it's possible.
