What is the fastest ever you went in NFS Undeground? I clocked mine S2000 at 364km/h when just starting this topic, but we pushed the limits to 400!!! GT3 was kind enough to make a summary of what we got over the course of the past 4 months. Keep in mind, that there were no cheats used (including TJ Parts cheats), and all times are run offline. Everything achieved here is official, and probably we got the fastest racers on of NFSU recording their times on this thread! We have also, established that on top Speed, the RX7 is the best car, period.

This is my RX7 on 14th and vine. i think with better use of N2O i could get faster. anyway, it works out at 362.128km/h

I just tried the supra, its not as fast, but i still like it. Just want to see how fast other people with supras have managed. works out at 358km/h

I also just got 221.98mph (355km/h) in the skyline, but that needs some work so i didnt take a pic

The supra isn't as nice to shift, but I got a higher speed than S2000 - 367km/h. Will try Mazda RX7 next.

And the RX 7 - 376km/h exactly. I think the thing won't go any quicker - it was redlined by the finish line. Hmmm. I underestimated this beast!

As you see I didn't go for a win - a top speed that's all. The trick is to get the max in 6th gear - RX 7 is perfect example of that.

S2000 - 226.4 mph
RX7 - 233.6 mph
Supra - 228.1 mph

Did this with my S2000, perfect shifting (almost) and a little bit of drafting.

What track do u all do it on? i always run out of room!

The forumer with Skyline @380+ kmph = HOW IN THE WORLD??? I want to trust it wasn't a cheat or something, so what track did you do this on and with what uniquie mods to the drivetrain (TURBO, NOS and Gearbox...?). I think those unique mods got to be the key.

I did mine on the Highway, since it has a downward slope in the end. If you time the gears right, the 6th should run a bit and than hit NOS to the end. If it all falls into the place, the needle on Tach. will be right at the end = and the engine will start overheat - but you cross the line in a sec. So it won't blow up. That's me. So I am eager to get that giant Skyline barge to those flying speeds. The most I could get with it was 365 or so.

I blew my skyline at 355 Km/p with the ENigne / NOs / Grivetrain unique upgrades..so how da heck u do it ???

could someone please tell me how they got those unbelievable speeds??!!
i can only get to about 214-215 mph and then my engine blows! is there any sort of trick to it? i would love to know how!!

Agree bullet. My skyline never went faster 370. And that's downhill, on full NOS, TURBO and ECU upgrades.
Besides, I never thought Skyline was the fastest car in the game.

I did a new record. On highway 1: 273 mph.

How to do it: don't use nos until you're at 6th gear. Then start hitting the nos key (do not hold).

Man! I got my new record to 379.10 in RX7. What uniquie upgrades do you have? I got turbo, ecu and weight reduction.

There is always a button that opens up the clutch . this allows the car to go over the speed limit...not sure if there is such a thing in NFS : U

but i'm a little curious, what do u guys do to get the best start, to shift perfect from N to 1st gear? plz, help me here

mostly get overrevs, shortshifts, a few good, and one or two perfects...

any hints?

I have the same problem when I start.

I would imagine you need a PS2 style controller to get the revs just under the red line in first.
With Key board there is a way to do it, but you won't win!:)
Usually I get 5 out of 6 with the first one as Over Rev.
If someone can do the full 6 in Perfect, with the key board and manage to win - I Want to know HOW!

pacodog: I got engine, ecu, nos.

Hey, I play with the keyboard and I do manage to get perfect starts (about 1/3 of them are). Others are good shifts and over revs/short shift.
How do I do perfect starts. First hold the accelerate button untill I get into the green field, then I tap the button so rpm stays in green. You need to tap the button with just the right speed. And watch out that you hit it just before the start.

track : highway; hitting nos (not hold it) and use drifting in the end of track !!! My 389,10 kph is a real speed, with no cheats !!! so keep trying !
