Yup! I'm aware.. NFS Blackout has always been creeping inside my head, but I don't think that would fit well with NFS. Oh wells.. Only time will tell.

Ah, let's not be too pedantic here - we're talking about the very next NFS release.. whichever year it comes out is less relevant.

Oh and Need for Speed Undercover was NFS09, so next year's title is NFS10.

Hey, people, have you noticed that every NFS with two words in title was great (High Stakes, Porsche Unleashed, Hot Pursuit, Hot Pursuit 2, Most Wanted), well except Underground, it was phenomen...

Need for Speed: Street Rod.
Need for Speed: Unlimited.
Need for Speed: Road Zero.
Need for Speed: Turbostruck.
Need for Speed: Zero Hour.

And my favorite:

Need for Speed: Revolution. This one has been in my head for a few months now...

Where did you hear that? I don't think they're planning to release an MMO but I think EA have confirmed that there will be an NFS XIII for 2009.

Although saying that, I actually DID like ProStreet...

this probably won'[t happen but it would be cool if EA combined nfs and burnout with one game mode for rampage and one for racing

As long as it's a more polished one with more features and has street racing... maybe even get to choose between street or legal track racing in the Quick Race menu and a career of street racing, that just may work.

Another title:

Need for Speed: Total Destruction.

That'd be awesome, an NFS similar to Underground 2 but with newer features and elements from demolition derby racing to create an intense racing feel.

Or...

Need for Speed: Mayhem.

I think The Need for Speed would be a good name for a franchise reboot. I personally think that the NFS franchise needs a good reboot and that EA needs to spend more than just two years figuring out their target audience, what that audience wants, delivering what that audience wants, and optimizing the final product.

Doubt that's happening anytime soon.

Ive been thinking the same, but I think that would be more of a selling point ("Buy the new Refreshed NFS!") than the actual truth...
