Find The Limit - Shift Videos!

Post by VG_Speed »

Hi there!

We are still quite new to the Game, so its difficult to know where the Limit is. I hope we will be able to gather information on that here! :)

To start, I leave here 2 videos:

Road America - 1m 52.990s - Works LP640 - Default Setup - G25
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3O0Slp-3OHM

Road America - 1m 51.290s Pagani Zonda R - No Assists - Default Setup - G25
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtDyWitLwVc

Note that in the Pagani Zonda R one, there is a Fade Out, Fade In almost in the end of the Video that I dont know how it happened! :x Anyway, since it was on the straight, its of no consequence!

Cya!

WOW! that's awesome!
fasteset I managed was 7:10... a few scratches and off-tracks here and there T.T and it didn't get recorded because I "cut track" at a few locations... *3 times after the Karoussel... always those parts*

Hi!

Here you have a video of 6m 07.85s from Standing Start and with Default Setup. With some Tuning this car will go below 6m, probably easy. In this Lap I had some mistakes, most of them because I was being a little conservative on some places, which is ironic! :X Also, with Default Setup this car is a nightmare to Drive here, because of the bouncing... You will see me take my foot out of gas on places were we should be flat out.

Just one more note: I have everything Off except ABS. I dont think ABS is faster, since I could match the sector times with it Off, but the truth is that with the Original Setup, this car is really hard on balance and ABS helps consistency clearly here. I wouldnt be surprised that when I start tuning this car I will have it Off.

Hope you enjoy! Cya!

not to be annoying but on the Zonda R one, at one corner where there is the "gray kerb"(the one which goes XXXXXXX)
the car is visibly trying to veer into the grass, which could cost you about 005s or 010s at the end i think...
Nice run by the way

Hi!

Yes, I have some understeer problems sometimes entering corners with this Car using Default Setup... Something I will try to correct when I start to make my own Setup! ;) The delicate balance between understeer and oversteer in this car is hard...

Now something completly different: a video in a 350Z Rating 5.99. Track is Glendale Club, 3 Laps in 1m 59.400s.
This Race were done for the Competitions in ISRC (hope its not a problem I put here the link: http://isrc2.proboards.com/), where everyone is welcome. As it turns out, it was found out that the best car in this rating is the Cobalt SS with 5.98 Rating.

Here is the link:

So I made a video to experiment with the cockpit view, as if I was a rookie.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR with stiff suspension and tendencies to oversteer.
Tokyo Club - 3 Laps [2:36:600]
Hard difficulty [surprisingly] with no assists

Hi!

Videos from the Rating 10 Competition over ISRC (http://isrc2.proboards.com/):

Dakota National - R8 9.99 Rating - Custom Setup - 3 Laps - 2m 04.040s!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34ShRfwqKYE

Dakota National - EVO IX 9.80 Rating - Custom Setup - 3 Laps - 2m 01.670s!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0pMbK7A0Z0

For very Long Races (6 or more Laps) and/or without NOS, R8 is the choice. Probably also for very Twisty Tracks.
For Medium/Fast Tracks with Shorter Races, where the 20s of NOS are a Major Factor, EVO IX owns...

Cya! :)

Two flying laps at Brands Hatch GP with my 13.98 GT-R SpecV. First lap 1:22.0 the other 1:21.8. I'm quite pleased with this run. Not only is it two of the very best laps I've ever done on this track with this car, but they came in succession. Added to that, is the fact that I have my right arm in a sling, so I'm only driving with my left hand. I still upshifted with my right hand, but no steering with it since I can't move my shoulder.

** removed ** (replaced by single lap video, see a couple of posts below)

Edit: Hugely disappointing offline session today. I sat out to really learn Ambush Canyon, and I soon figured that below 1:20 would be fair goal to set formyself. After maybe 2,5 hours on this track, I finally managed to put together a few decent corners and I thought I had it, but the clock didn't stop until 1:20.023. Just a few laps later I pulled off 1:20.026. I don't bother uploading either of those laps, because I will get it right at one point!

the EVO will basically win with R8 on shorter races because of NOS. after NOS runs out, R8 will gradually catch up and finally overtake EVO and then take the win(unless driver screws up at some point)

Hi!

Here are my latest 2 videos:

Autopolis Lakeside - R35 V-Spec 14.00 Rating - Custom Setup - 2 Laps - 1m 37.180s!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOAZYSOa-8s

London River - TT Works 12.20 Rating - Custom Setup - 2 Laps - 2m 34.690s!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFsj8D5m8f4

Just 2 notes:

a) In ISRC (http://isrc2.proboards.com/) there was a somewhat fight between ABS On and Off... I used Off, but On came on Top... Usually is easy to see what is best, but in this track with this car they really are quite similar... Still here is the Info and you decide what is best for you! ;)

b) After I mounted the setup I used in London River (60% mine, 40% from Cipriani - again due to ISRC Competitions), it took me around 40m to do that time. So I would say that low 2m 34s is quite possible, and this car is able to go very close to a flat 1m 15s per Lap.

Cya and Enjoy! :)

Hi!

Due to World Records (http://wrecord.com/) effort I manage to tape several Videos. All feature Pagani Zonda R and in all I used the Default Setup, which means that this is the Car everyone gets when him/her buys the Zonda R. All Results were validated by the World Records Anti-Cheat Tool.
I guess the main purpose of these Videos is to show what a Default Zonda R can do...

Autopolis GP - Zonda R - Default Setup - 1m 32.677s!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1c-PD_yDwh4

Brands Hatch GP - Zonda R - Default Setup - 1m 14.847s!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oO6RnXr6nE
NOTE: Forgot to Record the End Race Screen! :S

Laguna Seca - Zonda R - Default Setup - 1m 14.179s!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ue312v7R6oE

Silverstone GP - Zonda R - Default Setup - 1m 34.993s!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mc4XtIJTgvI
NOTE: Although I go wide in 1st Corner, its slower! It was a mistake! :S

Spa GP - Zonda R - Default Setup - 2m 02.967s!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNJZrYVzSzs

Willow Springs GP - Zonda R - Default Setup - 1m 07.840s!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qHvlJOzxAs

Willow Springs Horse - Zonda R - Default Setup - 49.793s!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90jsUwJ_YTA
NOTE: This is the proof Zonda R can also Race in twisty tracks without TC and Stability On! ;P

Hope you enjoy! :)

Hi!

Here is my latest Video... I have to say this Track with this car is really hard, due to the constant bounce... This said, I can tell you that the 1st Sector was very good; the 2nd Sector was average/good; and the 3rd Sector was not really good, mainly because I was more worried in not crashing then in being quick, and that coasted over 1s, due to small mistakes.

Nordschleife - Pagani Zonda R - 5m 56.898s!

Hi!

Thanks! :) But 5m 55s low, eventually 5m 54s is doable already with this Setup version... But is so damn hard! :S The bouncing makes things unpredictable...

Yeah... Still didnt went Online... The little time I had invested in WR... But soon I will go! :D

Rogério

PS: Now its time to make custom setups for Zonda and if that its not enough, to the Z06, it seems! ;P

Hi all!

After 5 months, I decided to return to NFS Shift, even more because I still hadnt play Online! :)

Below are 4 New Videos, all Present World Records and all Validated by the Anti-Cheat Tool from NFS Shift World Records (http://wrecord.com/).

I will probably be uploading Videos recorded during Real Time as apposed to Replays. That might mean probably not World Record Times, because with my PC is hard to do them while recording, but close enough. The fact is that the Replay system is very poor, not only information wise, but also because it removes a big part of the Speed Sensation as well as the Bouncing we are subject too.

Enjoy! ;)
