I would like these motor cycles in WO.
I would like to have some motor cycles in WO just to cruise around on and added diversity.
Here's some interesting looking ones I like.
Harley Davidison Night Train
Harley Davidison Road King
Boss Hoss BHC-3 502
Bimota Tesi 3D
Dodge Tomahawk

Hmmm, motor cycles, there'd be a first for a NFS game. Not too sure I like the idea though, they'd have to get the physics right, I played TDU and the motorbike handling was terrible with a keyboard, virtually unplayable...

KB users and TDU did not mix well at all from what I've been told. But NFSs are very forgiving games, so I dont think that would be an issue.Dr Houbenheimer wrote:Hmmm, motor cycles, there'd be a first for a NFS game. I just would like them for riding around the environment not official races.

I find motorcycles an interesting gimmick in games like MCLA, but they're not something I can get serious about. That's a no from me - I'd prefer they spent that development time building better physics or better AI.

I wouldn't like to see motorcycles in a NFS game. I just think it doesn't fit, even if they have some arcade handling like in Burnout Paradise.

Motorcycles just wouldn't fit into the NFS environment, be it for cruising or racing as this just isn't something to expect from them. Although for Midnight Club it is something to be used to as they've had bikes since Midnight Club II. As for Burnout Paradise, they were added into the game as free DLC which meant people could try it out and play it or just leave it.

Seem like the only reason you all are giving for not wanting motorcycles in NFS, is because they never have had bikes? Am I missing something here?

The thing is that if they added bikes, they'd have to work on the physics for them which could divert some much needed attention from the current NFS, which is WO. Then they'd have to think up some idea on motorcycle races and such. Not to mention the permissions to use the bikes from their respective manufacturers.
Of course if they had a separate team working on the bikes then I'm all for it I like bikes as well as cars.

Highly doubt it, and honestly, hoping they don't add them...

Yeah I think NFS is a racing car game, and the introduction of bikes or some other silly novelty would sort of "dis-own" the franchise.

Maybe they can include a very few, like Burnout Paradise has only four. I don't know though.Dr Houbenheimer wrote:Yeah I think NFS is a racing car game, and the introduction of bikes or some other silly novelty would sort of "dis-own" the franchise.

I think its even possible for them to use the physics of the bikes in Burnout Paradise and and so save time in making a whole new engine for the bikes. After all, Criterion Games is owned by EA.
