Re: World Online Car List
Well since the M3 E46 was in Undercover, I'm assuming that they will have it in WO. The one in the screenshots is the M3 GTR, the one you called the pre-tuned one, not the E46, so they might just have both of them. Otherwise Exotics will be almost completely dominating the game because in MW, you could use the M3 GTR instead of having to use the Exotics as it was a good replacement, even a better one under the right hands.
This is the reason why in my previous post I suggested having hot hatches like the Ford Focus Mark II and the Renault Megane II RS because if they re allowed to be tuned properly, can be tuned to rival Exotics.
This leads me to a question. Do you think that the car list will be biased? For example: Favouring Exotics over Tuners, or Tuners over Muscles.
That's all in my thrashing of the keyboard for today.

You should thank Frank Stephenson for it.Racemaniac wrote:Ford Escort RS Cosworth (Whale tail madness!)

Well of course you won't get the actual robot! What I meant was that his car version is the 2010 Camaro SS.NaBUru83 wrote:Are you sure? I don't want the actual robot, though!
Besides, Activision has copyrights for Transformers games.

Re: World Online Car List
thank god they do . now, if they won't change the classes a lot and think over the "Tuner Muscle Exotic" thing, then its basically going to be Exotic>Muscle>Tuner, with obvious exception of a few tracks where a good tuner/muscle >other cars.
i'd love for it to be real, and hopefully if they include hand tuning of certain parts, it will be better than in Carbon(anyone remember the 450km/h + Murcielago?) i preferred Pro Street in terms of exotic vs muscle vs tuner handling/performance. atleast they were semi realistic. now i seriously hope for tunable m3 e46, because while i like the GTR version, i would prefer to be able to actually affect how my car looks not only with vinyls and paint job.

E46 is the codename for the whole generation, including non-M3s.

hm, what about the R35 Proto? it does look quite different than the basic R35 , and there is never enough of concept cars.

We were talking about the E46 M3 and the E46 M3 GTR.NaBUru83 wrote:E46 is the codename for the whole generation, including non-M3s.
Apart from that, the list of features currently listed has got me tempted.
EDIT: Changed the topic name from "World Online Car List" to "World Car List"

Re: World Car List
Hyperbola? Now I don't know what that word means, but I'm assuming that it's got something to do with "hype". Now I don't think that they can just say something like that and then just completely contradict themselves once the game is released. That would just be a straight out lie then wouldn't it, and would be deemed as "false advertising".

Re: World Car List
doh, what if they include in the count:
spoilers + all possible colors for each model + carbon variations
+ hoods + all possible colors again + carbon variations
same for roof scoops
then all the bodykits/bumpers/rims/vinyls and colors for the car
and then performance parts? >.<

Re: World Car List
I'm not sure that they would be able to count each colour variation for each part, because with the new colour wheel that would basically mean infinite parts. They would of course be doubling up with CF parts though. And your comment would infer that there would be seperate bumpers and not full bodykits, which is a plus, and vinyls wouldn't be included as "parts".

Re: World Car List
hopefully there will be some bumpers, they are much needed as changing whole bodykit sometimes ruins most of the car for you while you just wanted to change the front bumper.

Re: World Car List
I wonder if there will be an AutoSculpt or something. If so, I hope it's redesigned.

Re: World Car List
"Redesigned?" As in Autosculpt actually does affect your car's stats?
Or is it that we have a little less crazy looking parts which are absolutely horrendous and instead have more nice looking body parts?
Or is it that we can do much more in Autosculpt than just move a bar left and right?

Re: World Car List
It doesn't affect your stats, although if I'm not mistaken using some body parts might increase/lower your average speed by just a bit. Whatever. I meant redesign into something much better.

Re: World Car List
and fixed widebodykits if we are talking about Pro Streets autosculpt. some cars were impossible to drive after installing a WBK. then, nerf the AE86 if we are talking pro street again. it could rival Mclaren F1 and i doubt thats normal.
i say we need better looking parts and then make them add downforce or other stuff. also Stock bodykit autosculpting was a great idea imo, you could make that little change you needed .

they didnt REALLY do this ever i think. correct me if im wrong.Zotic+ wrote:i think real liscensed body parts is a win, but this is a free game.
also, just including even few , seemingly basic choices like veilside, bomex, c-west, maybe kaminari, wings west(?) would be great. but at that point, with a beta build nearly ready i DOUBT they will get licenses, model all the parts and then put them in the game. but still if its possible to get a license for decals(they do need license for that too, right?) then why not visual parts too?
