It does to me as well. I just hope it isn't bad, or worse than Carbon.

We will see how good it is. Still, since it's gonna be free, we cannot expect that much, specially from EA. I'll give it a try... I damn hope it brings more tuning parts... they stated this game would bring more parts than any other NFS... so that includes U2... are they doing more parts for the car than the ones we saw in U2? I don't think so... but I would be really happy if they do, I mean, having like 20 different bumpers and spoilers and other things to autosculpt... now that's nice. :D

PS: This looked like Most Wanted to me, not Carbon. It's day time, and those cop cars and the Lambo...

i want them to just throw away autosculpt. its bugged 75% of the time unless they make it look like they spent more than 10 mins on it.

tho i dont have undercover so maybe they fixed it....sort of...

Early, pre-alpha footage guys. The trouble with releasing a teaser this early is that lighting and polish aren't done, so it doesn't show off final quality. The final game will look great on high end machines and look good on the Carbon min spec system. Lot's of work to go :)

If I have to guess they were some kind of team things...

Looks like Carbon to me too.
And yea the game is not finished yet but I hope graphics will be better though that would make the game lag more and thats not a good thing for a game that is based on online.
I hope to see more tuners in next vid... all I can see here are exotics...

And yeah I hope they realise that we need better bodykits and not the fugly autosculpt ones.

I agree. Some of the Aftermarket ones from MW/Carbon will do.

Music and some of the sound effects sound like they're coming from the Transformers movies.

About the "free to play" part: If any one knows, there was a MMO racing game called "PopKart" (made by Korean, also available in China) that claims it's free to play. Indeed, you don't need to pay for the subscription free every month, but you only have access to the most basic car available. If you want better cars (or kart? :D ), you need to buy points (like MS point on 360), and use the points to buy new cars, upgrade parts, etc. And those cars has an "expire date", means that your 2000 points can only allows you to drive the car for 20 days, then you need to pay again.

Just a little heads up on the "free" part.

Of course, if EA releases a free game, I bet all the add-ons cost loads of money...

It kinda looks like Carbon. But it's hard to say from one single trailer...

I expect this to epic fail. Not just because it looks worse than Carbon, it's free and that means EA couldn't be arsed even more to do a proper game.

It will be free, but you must pay for all the parts and upgrades and special access.

Its nothing more than carbon with a twist of Test Drive Unlimited.

But again, it's the first trailer. I'll just wait for more info.

Though korge does have a bit of a point.

In a way, I hope this is close to the way the graphics look in the end. It would probably mean the minimum system reqs are able to be met by more people's PCs, and a larger group of people would all be able to play (myself included). Doesn't it just seem EA-ish to appeal to a larger audience, and by extension, earn more money (assuming you have to pay for some extra things in the game)?

Also, since its free, they're not going to be getting paid as much as with a normal title, and they won't necessarily put as much time and money into developing it. As long as it's got the essentials for a solid racing game, I don't care how the graphics look.
