Any news about this game?

We've seen some information about NITRO and a lot of stuff about SHIFT, but about World Online we have almost nothing. Isn't it supposed to be released in Asia this summer?

I want to know more about it, but I can't find information anywhere. I hope the game was not cancelled or delayed. I'm interested in it, can't wait to play it.

Yeah I know I feel the exact same way, though I think it is still going ahead, because NFSUnlimited have pretty precise updates on all of this years games, though I guess it might be harder with the translating and everything. Still, as you said, you'd assume that they would've had more info released if it's still coming out, especially considering the close release date!

I should know more about it mid september, but so far it doesn't look like it's going to be out in the western world anytime soon.

Dr Houbenheimer: Yeah I know that, that's why I stop here everyday to see the news. And I thought it was very weird that even here there wasn't any new about World Online. I decided to search a bit (about 20 minutes) on other sites, but I can't find anything.

I'm glad to know that Bojan. Thanks for the info, at least the game wasn't cancelled. Still, why do you say we won't see the game anytime soon (Europe and America)? Was it delayed and won't be released in Asis this Summer, like it was supposed to be?

If you look at the scarce details we have about it, then it is a very likely possibility that it has been somewhat delayed otherwise we'd know something about it.

I believe the map thing could be to show YOUR location on map #1 and to show your friends(or any other players you choose to?) location on map #2...
the changes in the city map...
maybe after fitting the cities with slightly better graphics, they decided that now, THIS and THIS location would look BETTER if that and that corner was sharper....or maybe just to make it all "new" for most players. i still CAN'T believe EA doing this:
releasing a good game.
doing it for free.
making it bug free.
free again.
:)

You're being a bit too optimistic there lol. :P

"releasing a good game." - we don't know that yet...
"doing it for free." - I bet that to access some functions, you'll have to pay... I have this feeling
"making it bug free." - we don't know that yet...
