New features:
- Treasure Hunt Streak Rewards has been added as an extra feature for Treasure Hunt. Players can now complete Treasure Hunts multiple days in a row to earn items based on their current Treasure Hunt Streak. Whenever you complete a Treasure Hunt, you will receive an Item reward in addition to a large amount of Rep and Cash. These items can be powerups or car parts, including those awesome Pro performance parts. The longer your Treasure Hunt Streak, the better the Item that you stand to win. If you miss a day of Treasure Hunting, your previous Streak will be broken and made temporarily inactive. Thankfully, the next time you complete the Hunt, you can choose to recover your Streak with some SpeedBoost and get the next reward immediately, or let your Streak reset back to Day 1.
- 4 new Pursuit Outrun events have been added to the game, and can be accessed from the World Map or by driving up to an Event icon. As a result, Cop cars have been removed from Free Roam. Now, instead of ramming into a cop in Free Roam, you can initiate a Pursuit Outrun by either driving up to its own event Icon in Free Roam, or opening your World Map and clicking on the event Icon to join the event. The choice and control is now yours to when YOU want to initiate a Pursuit. Once you’ve chosen an event, the Pursuit will start with a countdown timer. The actual Pursuit gameplay itself remains unchanged. We’ve also tweaked our Lucky Draw system in Pursuit Outruns to reward players who manage to evade the cops for long periods of time. For example, you will now get a Gold card after evading a Pursuit which has lasted for more than 3 minutes. On the other hand, short Pursuits of less than a minute will no longer give Lucky Draw cards.
New cars:
- The 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS has been added the game and is available for purchase from the Car Dealer.
- The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (Cross) has been added to the game and is available for purchase from the Car Dealer.
Bug fixes/Changes:
- A crash issue that would sometimes occur during Pursuits was fixed;
- Fixed an issue that caused a duplicate of the player’s car to temporarily appear in the Safehouse after applying vinyls to the car;
- The engine badge for the Audi R8 Coupe 5.2 FSI quattro has been fixed to display a correct V10 engine badge;
- Fixed an issue that caused damage to appear distorted on the Audi R8 Coupe 5.2 FSI quattro;
- The Treasure Hunt HUD no longer appears during the Tutorial race for newly created drivers;
- Vinyl distortion issues were fixed for the Audi R8 4.2 FSI quattro;
- Vinyl distortion issues were fixed for the Chevrolet Corvette Z06;
- Vinyl distortion issues were fixed for the Nissan 370Z [Z34];
- Vinyl distortion issues were fixed for the Porsche Cayman S equipped with either the Halon or Coil Visual Packages;
- The finish on the Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 has been fixed to match the rest of the car;
- Some misplaced exhaust effects were fixed for the Dodge Viper SRT10, when equipped with Visual Packages;
- Fixed a duplicate exhaust effect for the Subaru Impreza WRX STI equipped with Visual Packages;
- The order of the Meridian category of vinyls in the Vinyl Shop has been fixed;
- Some missing vinyl thumbnails were added for the Nissan Silvia [S14] "Touge" Cop Edition;
- Localized text was fixed for the BMW M3 Sport Evolution.
