To celebrate Christmas, and to finish this year development cycle for Need For Speed: World, Marc De Vellis (the producer) has just posted on his Facebook page an universal code to redeem 750 Speedboost on World's website. The code will expire on 31st December at 00:00 GMT, so be sure to grab yours today!

UPDATE: It seems that the gifts aren't over yet, since producer Marc De Vellis made a new post on Facebook giving all NFS World players a code to rent the Porsche 959 for a 7-day period! As with the 750 Speedboost code above, this one will expire on 31st December at 00:00 GMT. Be sure to redeem your code as soon as possible and get to drive one of the most iconic cars made by the well-known German manufacturer!

The Porsche 959 was named #1 Sport Car of the 1980s by Sports Car International magazine. Only 337 road-legal versions of this car were made, making it extremely rare today, and very expensive.

Use the codes? Of course you can, they are universal, which means that any World player can redeem them. Naturally you can only redeem each code once.

They were given by EA themselves, this is not fake or any kind of hack, rest assured.

As far as I know, there is not promise from EA that players would get 1500 Speedboost for free. There is no reason they would do that anyway. If you didn't get one of the codes they posted on Facebook (for the 1500 SB and Starter Pack) too bad. That is over already, they stopped giving codes, and the ones that were given were already redeemed once. Better luck next time.

Sorry if what I wrote misled you. There was a "they" missing there. "since they [the codes] aren't universal"

To explain it better, the code EA gave for the 750 Speedboost and for the Porsche 959 are universal, which means that any player can redeem those codes. Basically they are giving everyone in World 750 SB and the Porsche 959. However, the code for the Starter Pack + 1500 Speedboost was unique, which means that only one player can use the code. Once the code is used, no one can use it again. That's why you need to keep refreshing the page, so you could grab the code and redeem it before anyone else did. Btw they stopped giving codes already, and there was a lot of people on their page that day, so the chances of grabbing a code before anyone else were pretty slim. :\
