New rules for NFS World Leaderboards

Post by Hydro_PT »

This is just a heads-up to all Need For Speed: World players who compete in the leaderboards here. The new rules regarding the leaderboards will come in effect tomorrow, the 1st of May, as it was already announced in mid-April.

Here is a small tutorial explaining how you can add a video or a screenshot of your race. Please read the link provided above to understand why you have to start doing this.

How to add a video / a screenshot to a time in the leaderboards:

1. Go to your World profile (as an example, this is mine)

2. Choose the track you want by clicking the black down arrow on the right side.

3. An Edit button next to the car you used to beat the record will appear. Click on it (example of my time in Main Street Circuit using the Toyota MR2).

4. Now you can either post a URL for a video hosted on YouTube with the entire race (for players 1st to 20th), or upload a screenshot of the post-race screen (for players 21st to 100th). This is how the page looks like. Remember, you can list your video on YouTube as "unlisted" and select the option "private". This way only we, staff, will be able to see your video, so you don't have to worry about sharing your racing line with other players.

Have fun recording times in World, and if you have any questions about the new rules, feel free to ask!
