First roadster in World
First roadster in World
It took a long time, but finally all Need For Speed: World players can enjoy the very first roadster to appear in the game: the second-generation (987) Porsche Boxter Spyder! Created in 1996, the Boxter is Porsche's first road vehicle to be originally designed as a roadster since the Porsche 550 Spyder. The name is a portmanteau of the word "boxer", referring to the vehicle's horizontally opposed or "boxer" engine.
The second-generation Spyder, which was unveiled at the 2009 Los Angeles Motor Show, is powered by a 3.4-liter flat-6 engine capable of producing 320 horsepower at 6700 rpm. Being a light car (1275 kg only), the Boxter Spyder can go from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 5 seconds. Its firmer suspension and a lower centre of gravity than other Boxster models make the Spyder supremely agile, both on the road and on the track. Get this new type of car in your World garage today for 2400 Speedboost!

Re: First roadster in World
If Jeremy Clarkson would play NFS World, he would say that there would probably be bug as how the Boxster starts, since the game wouldn't know where the front of the car is

Here's what Jeremy actually said about the Porsche Boxster Spyder.

I like this car, it handles good. No bodykits are available for it though. And the sound is... different.
As for the real car, well the first Boxster wasn't really appealing to me (ugly as hell!), but this second generation looked much better. Can't wait for the new one (981), which is based on the new 911.
