As of recent discussions and a broader uncertainty regarding this topic, please find an official statement here. It is by rule that getting more than one nitrous burst per gear in drag races is an exploit and not intended by game design. Abuse of this mechanic will be seen as a violation of the Terms of Service.

Please note that we do not discuss on this topic. We believe this rule is supporting all kind of players and will also help our new players to find the game more appealing and fun!
