You may not get it, considering the fact that the game launches in 4 days. :(

To be honest, I feel the same way. I wamted an S2000 in there so badly. Oh, well. Back to UG1 I go...

Looks like we'll have DLC. Check it out.

Hmm, a Collector's Edition with some additional cars (Yay Z4!), as well as packs for early unlocks. I hope the CE isn't an online download only for the PC version.

dude I checked that link out
I thought this was interesting:
"Get immediate access to this package of muscle cars, including the 2006 Ford Mustang GT, 1965 Pontiac GTO, 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS, 1971 Dodge Challenger, 2007 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super-Bee, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS and 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. Note: all cars in this package can be unlocked without purchase by progressing through Career."

I don't think the two cars in bold were announced on the carlist... did I miss something?

Update: just looked at the carlot and saw the two that I didn't think were in it my bad

Me, too, but oh well. You get what you didn't pay for, as far as EA is concerned

NFS was born with dream exotics. That was the whole premise of the game. Clearly, the focus has changed over the years but exotics still play a very important role in NFS and I love that there's a greater variety of them in NFS: UC.

Cars included in The Need for Speed are divided into three classes, each representing model within specific performance brackets, such as speed and handling. Cars featured in the game include the following:
Class A

* Lamborghini Diablo VT
* Ferrari 512TR

Class B

* Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1
* Dodge Viper RT/10
* Porsche 911 Carrera

Class C

* Acura NSX
* Mazda RX-7
* Toyota Supra Turbo
This was the car list in the original Road and Track game. You can't really call the Supra and RX-7 exotics (though the NSX fits it well), unless Italy made it... :shock: NFS has always been (and I hope to God it always will be) a multi-car class series. It has never favored tuners, it has never favored exotics, it has never even favored muscle cars for that matter.

Despite what I said on the Z06 discussion, we should all just come together as a fanbase of a 12-year-old game, don't you think? [-o<

And after TNFS cars like the RX7 and Supra didn't make a comeback untill NFS Underground.

Just to make it easier on you, NFS was always about high end sportscars from around the globe. (mostly european sportscars (exotics))
