New tools

Postby Skyline_man » 29 Dec 2005, 05:45

NFS-Planet.de posted 2 new tools for NFSMW, the first one is a resolution changer which lets you play NFSMW with any and every desired resolution which is very useful for widescreens. The second one is a hack that removes the traffic cars out of the game, so if you have any trouble racing with the presence of traffic cars, just remove them. :- )

Download the resolution changer here.

Yes...woot!!!
The resolution changer tool is perfect. Now I can finally play MW on the TV without those stupid borders on the side. I wonder why EA didn't offer widescreen options. They used to have them in the early NFS game (NFS3, HS) when widescreen wasn't even that popular. Having an widescreen option should be mandatory by now.

About removing the traffic...nah...traffic adds challenge...why take the easy way out?

the resolution changer is great for users on TVs, but useless for people using monitors. Im using dual monitors and I still have no use for the Res Changer. Nice find though.

True. I didnt mention I was refering to regular 4:3 scale monitors. But I guess it is useful for anyone running widescreen TVs or Monitors.

I wish there was a Windowed function in this hack...

I agree! It's hard when you have a wheel and you have to turn ALL THE WAY just to change lanes... Well for me anyway...
