NFSMW Screenshots

Post by Bojan »

EA has officially opened the season of supplying us with Need for Speed Most Wanted screenshots. The ones we got have already been seen on 1up, but these are in ultrahigh resolution. If you missed them, take a look here!

Nice. The pics are really cool and they look like actual ingame screenshots. (I might be wrong)

Time to add a MostWanted section in the left side of the main page I guess... :P

Don't get me wrong, it's great and all that there are new highres versions but I need some new pictures of other cars.
btw, that's not even ultra high-res. They're pretty normal. Ultra high-res would be 1600x1200 and higher.

1280x1024 is considered high-res :/

Anyways, I was kinda mad for a second there because I don't know why EA loves using low-res enviroment textures so much. Can we not have blurry walls and roads for once? And for the love of god do not tell me it's anisotropic.

You have the consider that EA tries to make the games run on older computers too.

Those Photos are great, but I wish they showed more than just a beamer. I'd be more excited If they had a Sivila S-15. 8)

And really low res vinyls...Even these "high-res" cars have crappy (edgy) looking vinyls.

These screenshots strangely remind me of the Source engine. And it pisses me off aswell, EA! Stop using low-res world textures for the love of god.

Well the demo will always be available... It's likely that I'm gonna try the demo first before buying it.

Definitely the demo first. These screens don't promise anything more visually then NFSU2. So it will be the game play which determines whether it is worthy or not.

Are you kidding me??

The graphics look improved. Look at the rims on the BMW, the world... There are like twice the number of polygons compared with previous games.

Plus the design of body parts look overall (how to say it?) --> Logical. Not weird body kits like the nfsu2 ones. They even might be real life kits (still soon to know.)

+ cops :!:

Im pretty sure this is going to be the best nfs ever, at least for me.
