Electronic Arts announced that it will host the first of six Need for Speed Most Wanted Blacklist Regional Tournaments in Houston, TX at the Formula Drift Championship on June 11, 2005. In addition to being the first people in the country to play the game, attendees will have a chance to compete for numerous prizes including a Finals Grand Prize Trip Package to attend the Need for Speed Most Wanted launch event in November 2005. Highlights from the Tournament will be televised on G4 – videogame tv’s drifting series, “Formula D” on Sunday, July 10, at 10:30 PM ET/7:30 PM PT.

Ahh. so this is a pre-game release promotional. I better watch this. Sounds interesting. I wonder what game features will be shown.

Singapore has their own Electronic Arts website. You should've seen the game stores in Singapore when NFSU2 was out. They're jam packed with customers, and NFSU2 posters were everywhere.

I meant, the US has more sales than a country such as Singapore. I didnt mean Singapore didnt generate sales at all. :roll:

Singapore is part of Asia, so I shall count as Asia.

The amount of EA Games sold in Asia probably might be a few percent lesser than the US, but Asia made it pretty big. Well at least in Singapore, most of their favourite EA Games is Sims. ;)

yeah australia also has a pretty big customer base here 4 NFS, u should have seen the malls all advertising and playing the intro clip from NFSU2...though i do understand that our geographical position causes us 2 b somewhat forgotten...

Well I'm sure when Half Life 2 was released, Europe had a big party, 'cos it happened in Singapore. It even went in the news headlines. ;)
