Official box art of Need for Speed Most Wanted Black edition (american version) has been released, you can see the PC, PS2, and the XBOX versions below:

Honestly, EA really made a stupid decision. If they planned to include a bonus DVD with the PC version, why didn't they make the game a DVD too? I mean if you're going to buy the PC Black Edition, then you should have a DVD reader, so I don't understand why the game is still on CD.

If they had made it into a DVD, there wouldn't be an extra DVD-CD for additional movies etc in the first place; it'd just be included in the DVD-rom instead, all in one, like what in US is called "enhanced CD". Does it make more sense? it was a big hint since then.

Why wouldn't be there an extra DVD? I mean 1 DVD is the full game, while the 2nd DVD is special features, that's how they do it with movies. The game doesn't have to occupy the full DVD. The Quake 4 game is 1 DVD and it's only 2.7 Gigs (DVDs have a maximum capacity of 4.2). I bet the "special" DVD is not even half full, probably some random extra pictures thrown in and a "special" car. I know how marketing works and I really doubt the Black Edition is worth the extra money.

I'm still confused about what version will I pick. I want to drive the '67 Camaro and try those extra race modes and vinyls, but I want a DVD game...

Since the DVD version isn't coming out for America I'm not getting a DVD version anyway...so I will probably just get the black edition because either way I would be getting a cd

i got in a argument wit this dude from ebgames caus he was like there will be no black edition wit pc i was like that stupid dont make me back slap u and now its all good cause i gota wait for there stuipd data base to load it up and w//e it has more things it would be nice to be dvd but w/e once they get it on there data base im buying it ^_^ (i got fear dvd edition)

Well, some peeps would just want the normal version, you know? They could be first timers to NFS, that is a high possibility. They wouldn't wanna spend something which they're not familiar with, would they?

They're gonna regret it sooner or later though... LOL!!
