urquattro:
JGTC=the great rivalry between the supra and the skyline?.. granted that maybe the Castrol Supra isnt running the 2jz motor, but instead the celica all trac engine...and the tuning in nfsu are kinda making them like race cars arent they?? they are definitely street cars anymore... 230 mph cars arent street... and i know this is an arcade game, but still... im referring to tuning potential here... but anyways, the 2jz-gte and the RB26DETT are the most potent engines in nfsu1...meaning highly tuneable and can take the high pressure generated by this ridiculous tuning... dont u agree?

1998 Supra with the vvti-l 325 hp, 315 ft lbs torque 0-60 5.0 sec
1998 Skyline R34 GTR 280 bhp, 289 ft lbs torque, 0-60 5.2 sec

vs

Celica (i love the celica by the way) 180 hp
Eclipse GSX 205hp.. think the GST was 210...
integra gsr 200hp
these cars especially stocwise cant be compared to these japanese super cars...

im just saying that the car specs in nfsu1 are really bad....
i thought that the supra may have been the N/A version, but it isnt... the stock one has 6 gears! (NA supras only had 5.... )

boganbusman - you have some serious issues with Holden. :(
Did a Holden side-swipe your Ford, or something? lol.

And Monaro's are hell wicked cars. :D

i guess i missed the whole point of tuning an SUV... what are you supposed to do with it? after reaching a certain speed, 1 mildly sharp turn and its a rolling you will go...

SchuMito wrote:The S2000 is the great miss of the previous game. I am not happy about the car list. I personaly do not like the Audi TT, all the Suv's, the Corolla GTS, the A3, the sentra etc! A lot of much more beautiful cars are missing like the Honda Crx del Sol, the Opel Astra, Mr2 (not mr-s) and other tuning cars. Well, we have a promise that it is a great game so I hope that this lack of tuning cars is replaced with great tuning options!
WTF is so bad about the Audi TT and A3. Audi is a great addtion and its about time EA added some good German cars. They should add a BMW 3 series.

listen, I don't like the Audi's they have put into the game. The TT is the best Audi they could put, ok, but Putting an A3 is just like tuning an ambulance! Can you tell me what has nice to tune an Audi A3?! There are tonnes of better European cars than just a stupid A3! Well a BMW would have been great because I love BMW's and are fine tu tune but an A3 simply just won't fit

And what the hell is wrong with tuning an ambulance?
A tuned F100 ambo could whip your bumbum anyday.

A3's are good cars, and EA made a good decision to put them in the game.

But it would be good if they had a rival German manufacturer as well.

Well, myself and I'm sure other people would have prefered tuning some good cars like Astra or Crx del Sol than tuning an A3! And if you say what is wrong with tuning an ambulance, then buy an ambulance, tune it, and go around driving one and you will be the city's fool!

You are so wrong it's just not funny.

Why don't you come down to Australia and you will see.
A V8 F100 ambulance is quite common down here (and they are pretty fast).

Here it is hehehehe . . . (this one is not tuned obviously)

I really am in the minority here - I'm GLAD we're getting the Corsa in the UK version - absolutely wicked little car, I love them! However, they should remove that Pug 106 and replace it with an Astra.

I'd like to see many more Vauxhalls/Opels. Let's have the Astra, Vectra and, of course, the Calibra. And the 1980's Opel Manta and Vauxhall VXR220 - these last 2 would make class Drift cars, as they are light, well-balanced and rear wheel drive. However, please NEVER add the Agila!

Oh, and why can't we have the much better looking Vauxhall Monaro VXR instead of the ugly Pontiac GTO version of the Holden Monaro in our version of the game?

That's not what you said.

You said that "they aren't good for tuning".

Not just "I don't like them".

Otherwise I would not hassle you. OK?

IMO the A3 is a good adition aspecially the 3.2 Quatro!
It will whip a ASTRA'S A** anytime!

it doesn't even have to be tuned is already a cool car. the new series of A3 like the sportsback are WICKED.

ok a Calibra and maybe a Astra (not that I like it... IMO it the epitome of a workmans car I see them here on every corner... but then again they are "tuned" alot

but other cars from Opel/Vauxhall ?? like the Vectra :? and Omega?
ok the Lotus tuned Omega was cool... but a normal....

Look. I think the A3 is a great car from even stock. My dad rented one and it was awsome. I dont no wtf u would call it an ambulance for. That should go to the 3 SUVs in the game. I think its a lil sports Wagon and the first one to be in NFS.

Did I say that?

I thought I said "I give up".

I should have added " and you are a tool".

But I didn't, because I'm not allowed to slag people off . . .

And thanks to you other guys for helping out.
